Why should I choose a virtual office visit?

There are times when rearranging your schedule for an in-person office appointment is impossible. Sometimes, skin concerns arise while on vacation or on a business trip. At these times, the virtual office visit is most convenient. 

A virtual office visit can save you time and money. There is no need to schedule time off from work or secure childcare during a virtual office visit because it can be completed anywhere at any time. Most virtual office visits are yet to be covered by your health insurance.

What should I expect during my virtual office visit?

To request a virtual office visit, log on to the Telehealth app and complete the requested items. You are asked to answer a few questions about your concerns and symptoms. You also have the option to upload photos to support your case. 

Once your case is received, your provider reviews your information and responds with a diagnosis and treatment plan, which may include prescriptions. 

After you receive an initial response from your provider, you have the choice to chat electronically. You can talk about any questions or concerns you have relating to your diagnosis and treatment plan.
